Picking out professional makeup brushes for your train case is a whole different story than picking out your travel-size makeup brushes to bring along with you as travel.
I mean, let’s face it, travel sized brushes will never be as good as the regular-sized ones. The features “minimize” as the sizes shrink!
I’ve found this precious Sonia Kashuk 8-piece Travel Brush Roll set, and let me tell you why I like it so much. First, the brushes are just what I need. One powder brush for blush or finishing, 5 different sizes of eyeshadow brush ( for wash, and detail ) , 1 small taklon concealer brush, and 1 eyebrow comb. Plus, there’s a pouch within the “roll” ( see the zipper ? ) that you can put your makeup in - concealers, powders, lipwear, etc. It’s so functional, and it’s a space-saver. More room for bikinis. Haha.
One great thing, as well is that, it is inexpensive! Now, the common reputation of inexpensive makeup brushes is that they’re of poor quality. Sometimes, they stand true. But in this case, this is a wonderful exception! Sonia Kashuk brushes perform so well, that they’re even compared to MAC professional makeup brushes - a way pricier counterpart.
Ack, I can’t run out of good things to say with this brush set! Makeup artist Sonia Kashuk tells us that these brushes are incredibly damage resistant, and “Usually you lose them before they wear out.” Cool!
So whenever I go out of town, go abroad, or just plan to bring my beauty kit along, this is totally indispensable. Not only do I have a set of brushes of superior quality that’s so skin friendly ( bristles are SOFT! ), I also save ALOT on space on my travel bag left, and I still have alot of money left for….shopping ! Hahaha!:)
