color Knowing your skin tone is one of the most imporant things to know because your life depends on it. I mean, if you would always want to look fabulous, you have to know this fundamental law of beauty and fashion. It’s got nothing to do if you’re a “warm” wicked woman or a “cool” chick. It’s simply sticking to your natural skin tone, and making the most out of it by sticking to the shades that you’d look great in! Otherwise, it’s simply a death toll for you. You would NOT want to underutilize your natural beauty, right?

Well, how do we find out if you’re a warmie or a coolie ? Let me count the ways!

You know you’re a WARM if :

  • You look great wearing gold jewelry
  • You look absolutely fab wearing an orange, or brown top. Believe me, this is the ULTIMATE test!
  • Your complexion is either olive, beige-ish, golden, or tan
  • Your hair is black, brown, golden blonde, or reddish brown
  • Your eyes are either brown or green
  • The veins through your skin are colored green

    • You know you’re a COOL if :

  • You look good wearing silver or white gold jewelry
  • You absolutely look great wearing a fuschia or bright pink top
  • Your hair is light brown, dark blonde, a brunette, or red
  • Your eyes range from light green, blue, greyish, or dark brown
  • Your complexion is pale and you have rosy cheeks
  • The veins through your skin are colored blue

    • I know, this sounds a little bit confusing so as to classifying yourself into which. But trust me, it’s better to “drape” your hand, or get a pink, and orange shirt, and place it near your face. Check which looks better.

    How do you know which looks better?

    Well, for starters, if the color’s for you, your skin would look very radiant, beautiful, and signs of aging, or even breakouts wouldn’t be as prominent. If the color’s not for you, dearie, hell would really break loose! You’d see your face as blotchy as ever, you’d see redness here and there, your eyebags would look HUGE , and your undereye circles would really define you!

    What if you just look naturally fabulous with both shades? Then, you are lucky , because you’re considered a NEUTRAL! Those with neutral skin tons have all the freedom they get in choosing clothes, but that doesn’t mean God has limited love for those with warm or cool skin tones? The idea, is simply looking great, and let’s stick to what can make us look great!

    For makeup advice, warm colors are browns, coppers, and tawny colors. I think corals can be considered warm too. Cool colors are those on the pinkish shade - berry, rose, mauve, or plum.
    At least, those are for the lip shades. For the eyeshadow shades, they would still depend on the color of your eyes (that’s another entry! ), but most warm colors include the browns, grays, yellow, and greens, while cool colors incude the pink and lilac shades.

    Well, at least now you know! If you’ve seen the light, I’m definitely sure that the future is brighter for you! Here’s to more dazzling looks, more confident smiles, and optimality!

      wow you moved your site na! last time i checked you up, i was hooked with the VMV since my mom was buying this stuff for me since i was a kid (for theatrical plays..make-up is needed!).. now you are soooooo much better na! :) very fab!

      as an eco major myself, snaps for you! hahaha. :)

      and regarding the rebonding stuff.. is it true that when you get your hair rebonded it becomes worse after it fades..like after a year or something?
