For years I have relied heavily on foundations that give medium to heavy coverage, until I saw the light- light coverage that is! There is a dual product that moisturizes your skin, gives a very light coverage, and even adds a bonus of SPF ( shouldn’t that be three? ) Well, it’s the tinted moisturizers, ladies.
Who wouldn’t want a product that feels light on the skin as compared to heavy powders, and liquid foundations? I mean, they are staples in the makeup kit, but there really are days when you feel that your skin deserves a good rest.
Anothing thing I’m peeved about applying heavy foundation frequently is the breakouts I get. Well, with tinted moisturizers, you don’t get those!
Well last but not the least, the finish! The finish, is simply AMAZING. You get dewy , as opposed to greasy finishes. It’s not matte, it gives you like some sort of a glow, and even diffuses some light to even out your complexion. It makes your skin base look flawless. So it’s definitely a bonus for those who have skin imperfections. You can always pull out a very fresh look as if you’re forever young. Cool.
Optimality? Definitely. Tradeoffs? Well, maybe the coverage couldn’t be “full”, but heck , who needs full coverage when going shopping or watching the movies?
Some tinted moisturizers I like :
For the budget conscious, there are good brands such as Neutrogena Tinted Moisturizer.

For those who are willing to splurge a little,Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is very fresh, light, and good! It has earned beauty awards such as Allure Magazine’s Best of Beauty Product

Well, there ya go! This can be worn alone, right after toning, or if you really like the feel of having your moisturizer around, I guess it won’t hurt. Dust a layer of loose powder to set, and make the tinted moisturizer stay for a while!
Tata for now!
